Montclair Ambulance Unit is the emergency medical services provider for everyone in Montclair - and we're not financially supported by township tax dollars.  We're essential, not sexy.

Our call volume is higher than ever.

In 2022 we responded to the most calls we have in the last 10 years and in 2023 our call volume is 20% higher than last year. ​

The COVID emergency may be ending but YOUR Montclair Ambulance Unit needs you now more than ever.

MAU is a non profit independent emergency medical service and the generous support of the people of Montclair have helped keep this unit alive all these years!

 

Montclair Ambulance Unit (MAU) has served as Montclair, New Jersey’s only Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provider since 1953. Whatever your emergency may be, you can count on the MAU team to arrive quickly. MAU utilizes the most advanced tools and training available in emergency medicine to deliver world class pre-hospital health care.

With over 40 highly trained staff members and a board of dedicated trustees, MAU is devoted to making the difference in the lives of thousands.
