The Unit is actively recruiting a Director of Development!
Responsible for the general oversight and day to day operation of all development operations including, but not limited to, all fund-raising appeals, personal solicitation, promotion, special events, fundraising policies and procedures, database management, and support for active, non EMT, volunteers. This is a part-time position.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Experience: One to three years in a fundraising role or related field EMS experience a plus
Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English
Administrative Skills: Extreme attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong math skills, able to create written documents, letters, brochures, and reports with little or no oversight
Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Bloomerang
